The Recall Centre Hoddeson
Even the largest Fire Companies require our assistance and expertise. Chubb Fire required a company with the expertise to not only install Aspirating Systems but to install them in difficult environments. The Recall Centre in Hoddesdon is a storage facility that stores sensitive and important information on racking systems that measure over 25m in height. As the information is sensitive and without wanting a fire to start or even spread throughout there is a requirement for the racks installed to be assigned a smoke detection system that will provide instantaneous activation of the fire alarm system. The quicker the fire alarm reacts the better chance that there will be a minimum information/capital loss in a worst case fire scenario. Therefore the best solution is to fit the racks with an aspirating system and in effect a series of pipes that span the length of said racks.
A combination of our Installation expertise and Health and Safety Operational capacity allowed us to assign our specialist teams to install said systems and in the process utilising access equipment with a reach of 25m height.
